PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Camozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Action Crackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Action Crackson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Action Crackson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camozzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A nice inside leg kick there by Crackson. That's going to slow Camozzi down.
Crackson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Crackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Camozzi as he avoids it easily.
Crackson throws a shot from downtown. Camozzi moves away and avoids it.
Crackson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Camozzi throws a lazy right hand but Crackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Crackson fails with a takedown attempt.
Crackson scores with a hook to the body. Camozzi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crackson scores with a shot to the body.
A punch combination from Camozzi misses.
Camozzi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crackson blocks a jab.
Crackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Good shot there by Camozzi.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Camozzi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Camozzi misses with a straight left.

Crackson scores a takedown into full mount!

Crackson working for a guillotine from mount but Camozzi is in no mood to give up.

It looks like Chris Camozzi has been cut.

Camozzi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Camozzi wants to get up but he can't break Crackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Camozzi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Camozzi has managed to get both his arms back between Crackson's legs - danger averted.

Camozzi wants to stand but Crackson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Camozzi throws a big right hand that misses.

Camozzi has gone for a leg lock! Crackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Camozzi's guard.

Camozzi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crackson pulls his head out easily.

Crackson is looking for a kimura but Camozzi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crackson to get the leverage.
Crackson wants to control but Camozzi is keeping him busy.
Camozzi is trying to stand.
Crackson slips a nice elbow through Camozzi's hands, connecting with Camozzi's forehead.

Camozzi misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Crackson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Crackson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Crackson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Chris Camozzi's cut is getting worse.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Action Crackson dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Chris Camozzi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Camozzi fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice jab there from Camozzi.

Crackson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Crackson drives through with a takedown into Camozzi's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Crackson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Camozzi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Crackson is looking to defend but Camozzi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Crackson! Camozzi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Crackson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chris Camozzi!
