Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Reality (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maxim Reality! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reality closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Reality prevents Gracie from improving his position. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reality wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working. Gracie wants to control but Reality is keeping busy.

Reality doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reality manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reality defends it easily. Gracie is breathing heavily. Reality makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reality distracts Gracie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Reality won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.

Reality got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reality has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. Reality slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reality looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Reality's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Reality is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Reality is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him

Reality throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reality throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Reality loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch. That was a close second round but I would say that Roy Gracie will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
