Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akio Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takada comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - All Nightmare Long. The crowd seem to be enjoying Campbell's choice of entrance music: Steel Panther - Party all Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Akio Takada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Campbell!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell tries to clinch but Takada is having none of it.
Takada moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Campbell lands with a hook. Takada tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Takada displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Campbell throws out the jab.
Nice defenses there by Takada.
Takada throws a leg kick but Campbell sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Campbell tries to clinch but Takada moves away
and Takada counters with a good low kick that Campbell was not able to check.

Campbell lands a big uppercut and Takada crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Takada looks OK. Campbell waves Takada back to his feet!

It looks like Akio Takada has been cut.
Takada throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Oh Takada is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Campbell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Takada seems to have got his legs back now.
Campbell just misses with a punch to the body.
Takada tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Campbell is able to avoid easily.

Campbell cracks Takada with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Takada looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Campbell finish him?

Takada avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice straight punches there by Takada. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Takada.
Campbell drops Takada with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Takada looks back up at him and smiles so Campbell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bruce Campbell spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
