A fine choice. Shael Connen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arco Amon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connen tries a head kick but it misses.
Connen shoots for a double leg takedown but Amon sprawls well. He's pushed Connen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Connen fails with a takedown attempt.
Amon swings for the body but Connen moves out of range.
Connen misses with a looping right.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Shael Connen just wasn't active enough.
Connen stalks Amon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Amon's face. Amon staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Arco Amon has been cut.

Amon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amon wants it to stay on the feet.
