The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mestermand tries to clinch there but Silvers circles away.
Mestermand goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Chris Silvers has been cut.
Silvers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mestermand moves in looking to clinch but Silvers pushes him off.
Mestermand wants to clinch up but Silvers keeps it at a distance.
Silvers scores with a takedown into Mestermand's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
