Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Professor Chaos !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonny Gambler!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gambler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chaos is in Gambler's guard.

Gambler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chaos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chaos lands a couple of elbows.
Chaos looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Gambler looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chaos passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chaos not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Chaos is taking a breather. Gambler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chaos is trying to control. Gambler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Gambler is looking to get back to is feet but Chaos passes into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chaos tries to move to mount but Gambler blocks the move with his legs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chaos scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gambler to see if he's OK.

Chaos looks up at the clock and then as Gambler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chaos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Chaos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Chaos in side control lands a decent elbow.
Chaos scores with punches from side control.
Chaos wants to control for a moment but Gambler uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Chaos wants to free his trapped foot but Gambler is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Chaos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gambler defends it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chaos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gambler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gambler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chaos pulls his head out easily.

Chaos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chaos is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Professor Chaos dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Chaos moves away from the strike by Gambler.
Gambler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chaos was well out of range. Poor timing from Gambler.
Chaos slips a jab from Gambler.
Chaos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gambler tries to avoid it but Chaos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gambler to the ground. Gambler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Chaos feints and as Gambler raises his hands in defense, Chaos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gambler throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chaos escapes and throws Gambler's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Gambler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Chaos grinds an elbow into Gambler's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gambler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chaos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gambler is breathing heavily.
Chaos scoring with punches and elbows.
Gambler tries to buck Chaos off but Chaos is having none of it.
The referee asks Chaos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chaos prefers to stall for the moment though.
Chaos in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Chaos is chipping away with strikes.


Gambler is rocked!

Chaos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gambler, who protects the arm well.
Gambler takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Gambler is still in real trouble! Can Chaos finish him?
Chaos controls the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chaos connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gambler some visible discomfort.
Chaos cracks Gambler with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chaos immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gambler is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chaos !

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Professor Chaos !
