Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pixar Bonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Tweedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonan comes to the cage accompanied by Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites. Tweedy has chosen Hard Act To Follow as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Pixar Bonan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pixar Bonan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Tweedy!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonan throws a shot to the body.
Bonan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tweedy eats them both and turns towards Bonan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Ben Tweedy has been cut.
Bonan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bonan misses with a few strikes there.
Bonan slips a jab and a cross from Tweedy.
Bonan throws a leg kick but Tweedy sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tweedy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bonan has time to react.
Tweedy throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Bonan counter with a right hand.
Bonan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonan wants it to stay on the feet.
Tweedy misses with a low kick.
Bonan tries a low kick but Tweedy avoids it.

Bonan forces Tweedy back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bonan breaks the clinch.
Tweedy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bonan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tweedy somewhat.
Bonan throws a right and a left that Tweedy avoids nicely.
Bonan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bonan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tweedy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A lazy left from Bonan finds it's target.
Bonan stalks Tweedy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tweedy's face. Tweedy staggers backwards, shaken.
Bonan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tweedy misses with the combination.
Tweedy throws a nice looking combination but Bonan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bonan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tweedy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tweedy loads up on a big right hand but Bonan slips the punch.
Pixar Bonan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tweedy fails to land the takedown.
Pixar Bonan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Tweedy.
Bonan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bonan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
No luck for Tweedy with that takedown attempt.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bonan throws a wild body kick that Tweedy sees coming a mile off.
Tweedy slips a jab and a cross from Bonan.
Bonan connects with a jab.
Bonan tries a head kick but it misses.
Bonan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bonan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tweedy is out of range.
Bonan lands a body shot.
Tweedy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Bonan rushes Tweedy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tweedy working hard to break the clinch.
Tweedy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bonan has him pressed against the cage.

Bonan pulls Tweedy into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tweedy stopping the sweep attempt from Bonan.
Bonan wants to stand up but Tweedy is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tweedy preventing the sweep.
Bonan wants to get back to his feet but Tweedy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bonan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tweedy is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tweedy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bonan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tweedy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tweedy duly obliges.

Oooooh!!! Bonan has knocked Tweedy down with a huge combo! Bonan steps away and waves a wobbly Tweedy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bonan lands a brutal uppercut that launches Tweedy off his feet! Tweedy tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
