Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holic misses with a takedown attempt
and Pascal counters with a series of strikes. Holic will be more careful next time no doubt.
Holic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pascal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Al Holic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pascal as he jumps to the side.
Pascal cracks Holic with a good jab.
Holic throws a poor cross that misses
and Pascal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Holic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pascal avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Holic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pascal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Holic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pascal lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Holic backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pascal will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Holic up against the cage.
A right hand to the body from Pascal.
Holic is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pascal pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pascal lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Holic is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pascal is defending well.
Pascal lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pascal lands with a short shot to the head.
Pascal pushes Holic against the cage. Pascal is working some dirty boxing. Pascal pushes off with a quick right hook! Holic goes down! Holic tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pascal moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

John Pascal decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
