Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lenny Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doc Holiday! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holiday with a body punch. A glancing blow. Holiday closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Lenny Butler has been cut. Butler closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Holiday did well to prevent Butler getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Holiday looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Butler sitting and controlling from the half guard. Holiday throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Butler controls the action. Butler has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Holiday has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Holiday has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butler just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Holiday defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Butler's arms. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Butler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Holiday to the ground. Butler is now in Holiday's guard. Holiday wants to hit a switch here but Butler passes into full mount! Butler is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Holiday can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Holiday for as long as he can get away with. Holiday looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Butler prevents Holiday from standing back up.
Butler works his way into full mount! Holiday is looking to get to half guard. Holiday is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler won't let Holiday get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. BOOM! Butler connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Holiday takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Butler is landing with some decent strikes but Holiday is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Butler stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Holiday uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Holiday gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Butler to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butler stands up over Holiday, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler slips nicely into half guard. Butler stands up from half guard. Butler gets a double leg takedown into Holiday's guard. Butler content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Butler scores with a decent looking elbow strike. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butler slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Holiday. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Butler dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Lenny Butler's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Butler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Butler showed some decent athleticism there. Holiday looking for a kimura from the bottom but Butler passes into side control! Holiday throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Butler decides to stand back up. Butler steps back and let's Holiday get back to his feet. Holiday fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Butler manages to avoid it. Holiday throws a head kick but Butler moves out of range.
Butler closes the distance and clinches. Holiday takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A right hand to the body from Butler.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Butler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Butler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Holiday missing with punches from the bottom.
Butler works his foot free and advances to mount. Lenny Butler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Butler controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler dominating with strikes here. Butler is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Holiday can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Butler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Butler putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler has control of Holiday's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Holiday regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Butler looking to secure an arm triangle but Holiday defends it well. Doc Holiday has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Butler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The referee warns Holiday that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Butler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Lenny Butler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that's the end of the fight! Lenny Butler showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Butler, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
