Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bishop throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bishop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bishop trying to mount his opponent but Spargel defends it. Spargel tries to roll over but Bishop keeps him under control. Bishop thows a huge punch but Spargel dodges it nicely.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Spargel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bishop's head.

Now he's in top in Bishop's guard. Bishop is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bishop keeping full guard, as Spargel tries to pass. Bishop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spargel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peter Spargel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spargel throws a right and a left that Bishop avoids nicely. Spargel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bishop throws out the jab. Spargel throws a series of punches but Bishop avoids them all with ease. Bishop feints and as Spargel raises his hands in defense, Bishop changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Spargel not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Spargel's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

And that's the end of the fight! Billy Bishop showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bishop, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
