Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Aschenbreaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by In The Morning. Aschenbreaker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Feuer Frei. Oleg Aschenbreaker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oleg Aschenbreaker!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aschenbreaker tries to clinch up
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aschenbreaker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Aschenbreaker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Aschenbreaker misses the target.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Aschenbreaker moved out of range.
Smith swings for the body but Aschenbreaker moves out of range.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Aschenbreaker throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aschenbreaker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith lands with a thumping leg kick.
Smith lands with a good body shot.
Nice body punch from Smith.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aschenbreaker misses with a looping right.

Aschenbreaker looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Oleg Aschenbreaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aschenbreaker throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Smith walks into a straight right hand from Aschenbreaker.
Aschenbreaker throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aschenbreaker throws a leg kick but Smith checks it.
Aschenbreaker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Aschenbreaker.
Aschenbreaker throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
A good leg kick by Smith.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aschenbreaker.
Aschenbreaker attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Smith misses the jab.

Smith connects with the punch.
Aschenbreaker moves out of range as Smith throws a body kick.
Aschenbreaker is looking to chop away at Smith's legs.
Aschenbreaker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Smith momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aschenbreaker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Smith scrambles back to his feet.
Aschenbreaker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Aschenbreaker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith staying out of range there.
Aschenbreaker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Aschenbreaker blocks a jab.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Smith connects with an inside leg kick.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aschenbreaker manages to avoid it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aschenbreaker feints a jab promting Smith to slip. Aschenbreaker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Smith slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Smith throws a hook but Aschenbreaker blocks it.
Aschenbreaker tries to score with a low kick but Smith moves his leg out of the way.
Aschenbreaker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Smith gets caught flat footed, as Aschenbreaker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Aschenbreaker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Smith looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Smith looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Smith!
Aschenbreaker is trying to control Smith's posture but Smith avoids it.
Smith wants to stand but Aschenbreaker has his arm trapped.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aschenbreaker keeps working.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aschenbreaker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aschenbreaker regains half guard.

Smith is looking for a kimura but Aschenbreaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Smith to get the leverage.
Aschenbreaker trying to control from the bottom.
Aschenbreaker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Smith is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Aschenbreaker!
Smith fails to move to back control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smith is working hard here to advance position.
Aschenbreaker tries to reverse the position but Smith maintains control.

Smith is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Aschenbreaker is surviving well by controlling Smith's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oleg Aschenbreaker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Smith's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Aschenbreaker scores with a nice right hand.
Smith lands with a kick to the temple. Aschenbreaker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Aschenbreaker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Aschenbreaker throws a head kick that misses.
Aschenbreaker throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Aschenbreaker tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.
Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aschenbreaker.
Oleg Aschenbreaker seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Aschenbreaker wants to clinch.
Aschenbreaker misses with a right hand
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Smith throws a leg kick but Aschenbreaker sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A head kick misses from Smith.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith connects with a nice looking jab.
Smith takes one to the chin there.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Aschenbreaker throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Aschenbreaker.
Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aschenbreaker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith walks straight into a right hand from Aschenbreaker - that's dropped him! Aschenbreaker jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Smith from any more punishment! Smith complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Oleg Aschenbreaker!
Oleg Aschenbreaker really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Terror-Trition: Video Proven 160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
