5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tap Out! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crashing Mashin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Crashing Mashin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Crashing Mashin trying to control the position from guard on top but Out is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crashing Mashin throwing strikes but missing. Crashing Mashin with a flurry of punches that miss. Out is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crashing Mashin wants to control from the top but Out keeps moving. Crashing Mashin looking to sit in guard and control but Out gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Crashing Mashin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Out defends well.

Out has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crashing Mashin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Out wants to control from the top but Crashing Mashin keeps moving. Out postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out trying to control but Crashing Mashin is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crashing Mashin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Out can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Out's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Out got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crashing Mashin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Out has managed to get both his arms back between Crashing Mashin's legs - danger averted. Out throws a big elbow that misses. Out is working Crashing Mashin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Crashing Mashin keeping moving, preventing Out from controlling successfully. Crashing Mashin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Out gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Crashing Mashin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Out doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Out manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Out trying to control but Crashing Mashin is working from the bottom. Crashing Mashin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tap Out hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Out shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crashing Mashin's guard. Crashing Mashin keeping moving, preventing Out from controlling successfully. Crashing Mashin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Out doesn't defend quickly enough and Crashing Mashin has managed to lock this one up! Can Out escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Crashing Mashin on a fantastic submission victory.
