Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Narcaleptic Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, zzzzzzzz. Frank Mir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Narcaleptic Arlovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Mir! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir throws a half hearted mid kick. Sloppy strikes from Mir. Those never looked like landing. Arlovski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Arlovski connects with a single shot there. Mir looking to score a takedown here. Arlovski is defending well but Mir drives through and ends up in Arlovski's guard. Mir wants to control from the top but Arlovski keeps moving. Arlovski is looking for a triangle but Mir pushes his legs off easily.
Mir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlovski swivels though and keeps the full guard. Arlovski seems keen to control Mir's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Frank Mir has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mir shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arlovski's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arlovski working a defensive guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Frank Mir. Arlovski connects with a body shot that sends Mir's belly button to the back. Arlovski misses with a few strikes there.
Mir shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mir was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Arlovski tries to hold on but Mir postures up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Arlovski takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlovski tries to hold on but Mir postures up. Arlovski avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mir.
Mir wants to control the action but instead Arlovski gets a body lock and reverses into Mir's guard! Nice work! Mir is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Arlovski dives into side control.
Mir is looking to regain half guard here but Arlovski keeps moving and retains side control. Arlovski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Arlovski holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Mir looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mir throws a head kick that misses. Arlovski tries to bum rush Mir with a series of wild strikes but Mir uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Arlovski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mir to score an easy takedown into full guard. Arlovski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Frank Mir has got the better of the ground game so far. Mir throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mir defends it easily. Arlovski keeping moving, preventing Mir from controlling successfully. Arlovski looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mir passes into side control.
Arlovski gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir wants to pass to mount but Arlovski is defending the position. Arlovski wants to get back to full guard but Mir has mounted him! Mir looking to control and managing it successfully. Mir goes for an armbar but Arlovski turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Arlovski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir is controlling Arlovski's posture. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mir manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arlovski manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir wants to control from the top but Arlovski keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arlovski controls Mir momentarily but Mir frees himself. Mir controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Mir wasn't active enough on the ground. Mir fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Mir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Arlovski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Arlovski thuds his right hand into Mir's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A combination from Arlovski does no damage. No joy there for Mir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mir clinches up with Arlovski and pushes him back against the cage. Mir blocks an uppercut.
Mir is working for takedown but Arlovski is calmly controlling the position for now. Mir fails to pull guard.
Mir drops down looking for an ankle pick but Arlovski pulls his leg out and moves away.
Narcaleptic Arlovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Mir. Mir drives through and clinches with Arlovski against the cage.
Arlovski can't find room to land a body shot as Mir controls the action.
Arlovski misses with a body punch.
Mir blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mir. Mir is trying to pull guard but Arlovski has him pressed against the cage. Mir blocks an uppercut.
Mir tries to land a knee to the head but Arlovski blocks with his arms.
Mir prevents a body shot from Arlovski. Mir breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Arlovski scores with the left hand. Mir knows he should have avoided that one. Mir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Arlovski keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Arlovski moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arlovski looking for subs off his back but Mir has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Mir hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mir shoots in for a takedown but Arlovski shows good takedown defense. Nice sprawl there from Arlovski as Mir shoots in. Arlovski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mir. Mir drives through with a takedown into Arlovski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Arlovski controls Mir momentarily but Mir frees himself. Narcaleptic Arlovski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Frank Mir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir stands and throws Arlovski's legs to the side, diving into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Frank Mir. I've got Mir winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
