The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magalhaes misses with a body shot.
Braga lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Magalhaes backs up against the ropes.
Magalhaes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Braga to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Magalhaes wants to sweep but no luck.
Braga is looking to work some ground and pound but Magalhaes has wrist control.
Braga is fighting to break Magalhaes's control of his arms but Magalhaes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Magalhaes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Braga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Braga is landing with some decent strikes but Magalhaes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Braga is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Magalhaes can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
