Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Protagonist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Silvera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Protagonist comes into the arena with Teenage Bottlerocket - Bigger Than Kiss blaring out of the sound system. Silvera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wedlock. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvera tries to clinch but Protagonist is having none of it.
Silvera staying out of range there.
Protagonist wants to land a leg kick but Silvera is out of range.
Silvera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joey Silvera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Protagonist scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Protagonist throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silvera tries a head kick but it misses.
Protagonist ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silvera wants to clinch.
Protagonist fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silvera on the side of the head.
It looks like Joey Silvera has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silvera throws a series of punches but Protagonist avoids them all with ease.
Protagonist avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Protagonist sends Silvera crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Protagonist is motioning to the referee to let Silvera up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Silvera is rocked!
Protagonist throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Silvera crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hiro Protagonist!
