Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Riggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Calloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calloway has chosen When The Man Comes Around as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hank Calloway is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Riggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Calloway! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Calloway throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Calloway slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Calloway can do anything to dispel that myth. Calloway trying to keep a closed guard but Riggins is proving a slippery customer.

Riggins is breathing heavily. Calloway distracts Riggins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Calloway working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Riggins's head. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Calloway jumps into side control! Riggins is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Riggins is squirming around, avoiding Calloway's attempts to control the action. Calloway lands a nice shot to the head. A nice elbow there by Calloway. The referee warns Riggins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Calloway lands a big elbow. Riggins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Calloway lands a nice shot to the head. Riggins is desperately trying to improve his position but Calloway has a good base and remains in mount. Calloway looking to finish Riggins with some ground and pound. This is bad for Riggins! Riggins gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Calloway dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Calloway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Calloway has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Riggins's face.
Calloway postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Riggins looks a forlorn figure.

Riggins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Calloway with shots to the head and body - Riggins looks very uncomfortable down there. Calloway is landing with some decent strikes but Riggins is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Calloway lands a heavy elbow. Calloway with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Calloway takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggins wants to control but Calloway is having none of it. Riggins is trying to escape the mount.
Riggins taking shots to the head. Riggins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. BOOM! Calloway connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Calloway is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Riggins can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Calloway lands a big shot there that rocks Riggins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Calloway drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Calloway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Riggins is bucking up trying to escape but Calloway cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Calloway. Calloway looking to finish Riggins with some ground and pound. This is bad for Riggins! Calloway lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Riggins is looking to improve his position but Calloway isn't that keen on the idea. Calloway with the ground and pound from mount. Calloway is in the full mount, landing strikes. Calloway unloading with bombs! Riggins regains half guard. Riggins is trying to maintain the position but Calloway is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riggins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Calloway is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Calloway is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Riggins on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Riggins is in trouble now - Calloway has advanced to mount! Calloway postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Riggins looks a forlorn figure.

Calloway breaks from Riggins's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Calloway cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Riggins is desperately trying to improve his position but Calloway has a good base and remains in mount. Riggins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Riggins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calloway swivels though and keeps the full guard. Calloway thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Riggins trying to control but Calloway is working from the bottom. Riggins won't allow Calloway to sweep him here.
And that's the end of the fight! Hank Calloway comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Calloway has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
