Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chay Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray comes to the cage accompanied by super cold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray leaves Lopez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lopez shoots for a takedown but Ray saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lopez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ray paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ray shoots in but Lopez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lopez misses with the combination.
No luck for Lopez with that takedown attempt.
Chay Ray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Lopez.
Lopez fails with the takedown
and Ray counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Ray seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lopez for as long as he can get away with.

Lopez is pressing down on Ray's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ray wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving.
Lopez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ray manages to get himself to full guard.
Lopez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ray is proving hard to escape from.

That's time! Ray's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lopez is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Ray reverses the position - he's now on top in Lopez's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ray, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chay Ray spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
