Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavez comes into the arena with Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor blaring out of the sound system. Ankutse has chosen i ka kane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aadilou Ankutse!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez instigates a clinch.
Ankutse avoiding damage as Chavez throws knees to the body.
Chavez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ankutse is defending well for now.
Ankutse managing to block the knees to the body from Chavez.
Ankutse is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ankutse gets control of Chavez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ankutse will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ankutse had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chavez defends it easily.
Ankutse keeping moving, preventing Chavez from controlling successfully.
Ankutse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chavez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ankutse controls Chavez momentarily but Chavez frees himself.
Chavez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ankutse on the ground.
Ankutse is looking to sinch up a triangle. Chavez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ankutse's body to avoid the submission. Ankutse has instead reached around Chavez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ankutse arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Aadilou Ankutse!
After winning the bout, Aadilou Ankutse thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
