PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Decision Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazaki Fujita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fujita has chosen Metallica-Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujita jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Machine scores with a jab. Fujita acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Machine tried to score with a low kick but Fujita checks it.

Machine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujita swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fujita takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Fujita gets a double leg takedown into Machine's guard.
Fujita throws a strike but Machine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Machine wants to control from the top but Fujita keeps moving.
Machine is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fujita is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Machine takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Machine fakes the leg kick and cracks Fujita in the body.
Machine swings for the body but Fujita moves out of range.

Fujita shoots in looking for a takedown but Machine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fujita's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Machine takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Machine here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
