Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evo Lution (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lution comes to the cage accompanied by DX Evolution. Evo Lution has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston blocks a head kick by Lution.

Kingston rushes Lution and presses him up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Lution successfully pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lution is trying to force a seperation but Kingston has the dominant position.

Kingston gets control of Lution's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kingston will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kingston has his foot on Lution's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lution works his way back into a safe position though.

Lution gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lution wanted to stand there but Kingston had control of the position.
Lution makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lution throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kingston was covering up waiting for the punch and Lution finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kingston pulls Lution in close to his closed guard and prevents Lution from doing any damage or advancing position.

We're going to have a standup here because Evo Lution wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Lution shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kingston's guard.

Lution doesn't manage to clinch there - Kingston circles away.
Kingston shoots in looking for a takedown. Lution tries to sprawl out of it but Kingston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lution manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Evo Lution has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buddy Kingston.

Lution is trying to stick to Kingston's back but Kingston is turning into Lution. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lution's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kingston.
