Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Christopoulos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mirko Fillipovitch!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopoulos throws a hook but Fillipovitch avoids it easily.
Fillipovitch takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fillipovitch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Christopoulos.
Christopoulos just misses with a punch to the body.
Fillipovitch scoring well with a low kick there.
A head kick from Fillipovitch lands but Christopoulos takes it in his stride.


It looks like Jason Christopoulos has been cut.
Fillipovitch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fillipovitch throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fillipovitch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christopoulos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fillipovitch tries to avoid it but Christopoulos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fillipovitch to the ground. Fillipovitch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fillipovitch lands a nice shot to the body.
Fillipovitch connects with a leg kick. Christopoulos looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Christopoulos throws a jab when Fillipovitch was well out of range.
Christopoulos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fillipovitch.
An inside leg kick lands from Fillipovitch.
Fillipovitch lands with an overhand left.

Fillipovitch leaves Christopoulos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Christopoulos is breathing heavily.
Fillipovitch lands with a kick to the temple. Christopoulos shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fillipovitch throws a left and a right that both miss
and Christopoulos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fillipovitch thinking.
Jason Christopoulos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fillipovitch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Christopoulos.
Fillipovitch leaves Christopoulos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Christopoulos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fillipovitch explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Fillipovitch throws a good cross that connects.
Fillipovitch throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fillipovitch feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Christopoulos's calf.
Christopoulos with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fillipovitch to score with a decent uppercut.

Fillipovitch drops Christopoulos with a beautiful combination! Christopoulos stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fillipovitch is looking for the KO!


Christopoulos is rocked!
Fillipovitch throws a monster overhand right that drops Christopoulos! Fillipovitch follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
