Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Unigu Rege (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nag Hambukoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hambukoo has chosen Darkest Hour as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Unigu Rege! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nag Hambukoo! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hambukoo digs a good hook to Rege's body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hambukoo. Nice takedown defense from Hambukoo. No joy for Rege on that attempt. Rege blocks a low kick nicely. Rege shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hambukoo defends it nicely. A nice leg kick lands there from Hambukoo. Nice shot by Hambukoo. Hambukoo throws the left hand but Rege avoids the punch easily. Hambukoo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Hambukoo throws a looping overhand right but Rege ducks down to avoid it. Rege misses with a two punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hambukoo throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Hambukoo connects with a single shot there. Hambukoo swings widly with a right hand
and Rege decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hambukoo's guard. Rege in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hambukoo is on top in guard.
Hambukoo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rege swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hambukoo distracts Rege with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hambukoo passes Rege's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hambukoo tries to pass to full mount but Rege defends it. Rege knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hambukoo on the ground. Rege is trying to control but can't.
Rege is refusing to be controlled, as Hambukoo sits in half guard. Hambukoo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hambukoo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hambukoo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hambukoo is working for a kimura but Rege is defending it quite comfortably.
Hambukoo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Rege is staying active underneath Hambukoo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hambukoo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rege! Rege tries to hold on but Hambukoo pushes him away. The referee warns Rege that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rege is looking to improve his position but Hambukoo isn't that keen on the idea. Hambukoo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rege is looking to get to half guard. Hambukoo avoids the attempt from Rege to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hambukoo controlling from the full mount. Hambukoo working Rege over with strikes here. Hambukoo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rege wants to hold on but Hambukoo pushes him away. Hambukoo lands a nice shot to the head. Rege is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Hambukoo wants to control the pace but Rege is squirming around nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hambukoo breaks from Rege's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hambukoo looking to control but Rege is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rege tries to reverse the position but Hambukoo maintains control. Hambukoo working for a guillotine from mount but Rege is in no mood to give up. Hambukoo raining down shots from the mount! Rege has left one of his arms exposed and Hambukoo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rege screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
