The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kent.
It looks like Andrew Kent has been cut.
Kent closes the distance but Maynard moves to the side
and Maynard counters with a straight right hand.
Kent misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Maynard to counter with a crisp jab.
Maynard lands a jab-cross combination.
Kent is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
BOOM! Maynard lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kent. Kent tries to recover but Maynard is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kent lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gray Maynard!
Gray Maynard decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
