Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rubiao Macarenco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luck Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macarenco comes into the arena with Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Rubiao Macarenco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rubiao Macarenco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luck Miller! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Macarenco, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Macarenco is keeping the position for now. Macarenco wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macarenco swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Macarenco's guard. Miller seems to be working for a kimura but Macarenco defends the submission attempt. Miller trying to control from half guard but Macarenco is working away. Macarenco wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Miller looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Macarenco is defending against the submission attempts here by Miller.
Miller wants to free his trapped foot but Macarenco is holding on for dear life with his legs. Miller missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Miller is looking for a kimura but Macarenco is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miller to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller stops Macarenco from getting back to his feet.
Miller looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Macarenco pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.
Macarenco is not content to let Miller control the position. Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Macarenco kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Miller trying to control from Macarenco's half guard. Macarenco has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Macarenco wants to stand up but Miller is controlling him. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Macarenco is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Luck Miller has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. Crack! A monster head kick from Macarenco and Miller falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Macarenco!
