The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos misses with a takedown attempt
and Okami counters with a left to the body.
Okami lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jab by Okami.
Santos takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kenji Okami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okami scores with a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Okami misses with a two punch combination.
Santos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Santos looks gassed!
Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Okami sprawls well. Okami wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
Okami keeps Santos at a distance using the push kick.
A head kick from Okami lands but Santos takes it in his stride.
Santos is rocked!
Okami steps in with a hook that catches Santos right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Okami follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Santos looks absolutely devastated.
