Giron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ghfta counters by clinching up.
Ghfta lands a takedown into guard.

Ghfta is nestled in close to Giron, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We're going to have a standup here because Yjhgfj Ghfta wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Ghfta shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Giron eats them both and turns towards Ghfta to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Giron lands a two punch combo.

Giron closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ghfta circles away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ghfta throws a series of strikes that have Giron backpedaling.

Ghfta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Giron to the ground. Ghfta is now in Giron's guard.
Ghfta is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Giron can do to turn this around?
Ghfta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Giron swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Giron thows a body shot but no joy.
Giron explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ghfta on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ghfta tries to get out of the position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ghfta, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
