Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brisbane Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into the arena with Stonger-Kanye West blaring out of the sound system. Daniel Brown has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brisbane Martin! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown moves into the clinch successfully.
Martin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Brown pulls guard. Martin is looking to stand up but Brown won't let him. Martin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Brown is looking for a triangle but Martin pushes his legs off easily.
Martin wants to stand and escape but instead Brown has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Martin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Martin's guard. Martin has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Brown has passed into side control.
Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martin can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Martin has escaped the position, nice work there. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Martin has eaten all the pies! Martin tries to improve position but can't. Martin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Martin tries to improve position but can't. Brown cracks Martin with a big elbow. Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Martin is defending well. Martin is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it. Martin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown working away. Martin tries to buck Brown off but Brown is having none of it. Brown looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working. You can see the frustration on Martin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Martin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brown stands up. Brown shoots in but Martin avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Martin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Brown dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Martin is looking to score with low kicks. Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Martin was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. Brown advances position into side control! A control attempt from Martin but he's now mounted! Martin tries to control Brown's body but Brown pushes him off. Martin squirms to his side and now Brown has his back! Martin is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Brown gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Martin is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Brown is your winner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Daniel Brown! Our winner, Daniel Brown, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
