The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Dragunov blocks the leg kick.
Dragunov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bangizwe.
Maxim Dragunov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bangizwe has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dragunov.
Dragunov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dragunov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bangizwe blocks a head kick by Dragunov.

Dragunov throws a looping overhand right but Bangizwe ducks down to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dragunov wants to stay close but Bangizwe steps back to make room for something. Dragunov seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Bangizwe and Dragunov drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
