Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Katasonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roll Fizzlebeef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Katasonov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In Extremo - Wind. Roll Fizzlebeef has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
25 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pavel Katasonov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Roll Fizzlebeef!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Fizzlebeef.
Fizzlebeef takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fizzlebeef fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Katasonov manages to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as Fizzlebeef checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Katasonov moves out of range of the strikes.
Katasonov lands a nice looking body shot.
Fizzlebeef throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Katasonov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fizzlebeef swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Katasonov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fizzlebeef looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Katasonov landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Fizzlebeef tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Katasonov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Katasonov in side control lands a decent elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fizzlebeef can't do much from the bottom here.
Katasonov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Katasonov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fizzlebeef tries to improve position but can't.
Fizzlebeef is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fizzlebeef gets full guard.
Fizzlebeef utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Katasonov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Katasonov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Katasonov is pushing down on Fizzlebeef's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fizzlebeef is fighting to maintain full guard but Katasonov has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fizzlebeef keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Katasonov looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Fizzlebeef wants to control but Katasonov is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Katasonov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fizzlebeef has managed to free his arm - good work.
Katasonov is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fizzlebeef moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Katasonov is fighting to break Fizzlebeef's control of his arms but Fizzlebeef is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Katasonov postures up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fizzlebeef manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Katasonov manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fizzlebeef stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Katasonov throws up his legs and catches Fizzlebeef in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Fizzlebeef tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Katasonov! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Pavel Katasonov!
An out of breath Pavel Katasonov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
