Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Sugarol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sugarol throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marsh counters with an inside leg kick.
Sugarol throws a shot from downtown. Marsh moves away and avoids it.
Marsh throws a quick inside leg kick.
Marsh throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sugarol tests Marsh's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jab, jab by Sugarol - just one landing.
Sugarol works the jab nicely.

Sugarol throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sammy Sugarol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marsh attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Marsh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Sugarol lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sugarol works over Marsh's head and body with a nice combination.

Marsh throws a leg kick but Sugarol sees it coming and moves out of range.
Sugarol throws an off balance right hand
and Marsh counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sugarol is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Marsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sugarol.

The crowd cheers as Sugarol lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marsh doesn't seem phased though.

No joy there for Sugarol, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marsh tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sugarol is able to avoid easily.
Sugarol stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sugarol wants it to stay on the feet.
Sugarol throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marsh.
Marsh moves out of range as Sugarol strikes.
Marsh slips under a jab from Sugarol.
Marsh is looking to chop away at Sugarol's legs.
Nice sprawl there from Sugarol as Marsh shoots in.

Marsh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sugarol swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sugarol tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kris Marsh really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that D.O.A. PRESENTS: PRIME DESIGNS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
