Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Fargus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen "Gods Gonna Cut You Down"-Johnny Cash as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jamal Thompson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alan Fargus's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a head kick but Fargus moves out of range.
Thompson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fargus is looking for a triangle but Thompson pushes his legs off easily.
Fargus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thompson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Thompson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fargus can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Thompson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fargus's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Fargus is looking to improve his position but Thompson isn't that keen on the idea.

Thompson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Fargus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thompson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fargus has Thompson in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alan Fargus will probably get the nod.

Jamal Thompson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thompson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
