Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Pyron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiho Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen March of the Swiss Soldiers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyron shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pyron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Silva is looking for a triangle but Pyron pushes his legs off easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pyron walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pyron stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pyron wants it to stay on the feet.
Michael Pyron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiho Silva.
Pyron is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
