Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sal Manella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manella comes to the cage accompanied by Egg. Silva has chosen MC Primo - Diretoria as his entrance music. The key to victory for Sal Manella has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Silva!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manella connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Manella as he jumps to the side.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Manella is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Manella circles away and we're back to standing.
Manella lands with a kick to the ribs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Manella.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Manella finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.
A lazy left from Manella finds it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manella paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Manella connects with a crisp jab.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Manella grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Silva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Manella cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sal Manella!
Sal Manella retains his lightweight title!
Sal Manella gave a mention to [WAO]MADE IN GERMANY in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
