The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a big shot that misses.
Evans throws a sloppy body shot
and Bluthe counters with a two punch combo.
Evans's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bluthe under the eye.
Evans swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bluthe counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bluthe misses with a double jab.

Evans walks into a left hand.

Bluthe shoots for a takedown but Evans saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Evans throws a body punch but Bluthe moves out of range.
Toby Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bluthe drops his hands momentarily and Evans takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Evans just misses with a punch to the body.
Evans lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Evans loads up on a big right hand but Bluthe slips the punch.
Evans throws a hook to the side of Bluthe's head but Bluthe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Toby Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Evans scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for Bluthe with that takedown attempt.
Bluthe misses with the combination.
Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bluthe manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Evans misses with a wild body shot.
Evans is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bluthe.
Bluthe cracks Evans with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Bluthe. Bluthe gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gob Bluthe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evans gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Evans avoids a punch combination nicely.

A combination from Bluthe does no damage.
Evans misses with a wild body shot.
Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bluthe was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.

Bluthe takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Bluthe counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Evans is looking for a sweep. Bluthe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bluthe is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Evans is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After winning the bout, Gob Bluthe thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
