Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ros Ludovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGettigan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Knifeman - The Bronx. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ros Ludovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom McGettigan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludovic takes one to the side of the head.
McGettigan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ludovic connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McGettigan's hands.
Ludovic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ludovic staying out of range there.
Ludovic misses with a takedown
and McGettigan counters with a straight right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGettigan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ludovic.
Ros Ludovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ludovic shoots in for a takedown but McGettigan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ros Ludovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGettigan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McGettigan scores with a decent looking hook.
Ludovic takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McGettigan dips to his left and cracks Ludovic with an uppercut!

and McGettigan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ludovic walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGettigan.
Ludovic is breathing heavily.
Ludovic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McGettigan counters with a head kick that drops Ludovic to the mat! Ludovic scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ludovic is rocked!
McGettigan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ludovic. That did some damage!
Oh Ludovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGettigan is looking to slow Ludovic down with leg kicks.
McGettigan scores with a punch to the head.
McGettigan connects with a nice cross there... Ludovic is looking wobbly and McGettigan recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ludovic to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - McGettigan jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tom McGettigan!
During a confident post fight interview, Tom McGettigan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
