Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kuririn Kame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen I'll be Back as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuririn Kame!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Kent!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Kent lands.
Kame will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kame tries for a takedown but Kent circles away easily
and Kent counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kame shoots in for a takedown but Kent shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuririn Kame. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kent moves into the clinch successfully.
Kent content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Kent.

Kent manages to break the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kent.


It looks like Kuririn Kame has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kent lands a slapping body shot.
Kent lands a jab.
Kent works Kame's body with a nice hook.
Kent defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kame.
Kent scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Peter Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kame shoots in and drives through. Kent sprawls well.
Kame is breathing heavily.
Kame tries for a takedown but Kent circles away easily
and Kent counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kame on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Kent bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Kame! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Kame is rocked!


Kuririn Kame's cut is getting worse.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kent stays in close to Kame's body and controls the position.
Oh Kame is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kame throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kame seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kent passes Kame's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kent is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kent seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kame is pressing down on Kent's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kent wanted to stand there but Kame had control of the position.
Kent wants to pass the guard but Kame is keeping the position.
Kent trying to control the position from guard on top but Kame is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kent stopping the sweep attempt from Kame.

Kent stands up from Kame's guard - Kent perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kame was well out of range. Poor timing from Kent.
Kame with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kent to score with a decent uppercut.
Kent lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kame circles away quickly and effectively.
Kent lands a right hook to the body.
Kent's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kent duly obliges.
Kame on the wrong end of a nice hook.


Kuririn Kame's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kame closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kent circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kent darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kame is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kame gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Jeez, Kuririn Kame's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Kent uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kent fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kent connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kame's hands.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kuririn Kame's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Peter Kent!
A relieved looking Peter Kent thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
