The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rueda pinned against the cage. Rueda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rueda shoots in but Gomes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rueda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rueda wants it to stay on the feet.
