The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinsley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nakamura manages to avoid it.
Nakamura thuds his right hand into Tinsley's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Jamal Tinsley has been cut.
A big left from Nakamura misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nakamura throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nakamura scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tinsley in his tracks.
Nakamura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tinsley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tinsley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakamura's waist but Nakamura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tinsley off to one side.

Nakamura gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tinsley to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tinsley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nakamura on the ground.
