Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Sweeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romy Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Sweeney had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sweeney was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.
Diaz catches Sweeney with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Diaz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diaz throws out a loose jab but Sweeney uses good head movement to avoid it.
Romy Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sweeney shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Diaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sweeney looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Diaz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sweeney is breathing heavily.
Diaz lands an overhand right.
Diaz leaves Sweeney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Sweeney. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as Diaz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sweeney doesn't seem phased though.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sweeney. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sweeney shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nice uppercut lands for Diaz. That snapped Sweeney's head back.
Oh Sweeney is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Ben Sweeney has been cut.

Diaz cracks Sweeney with a hook to the temple - Sweeney is on wobbly legs here! Diaz swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sweeney falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Diaz wins by TKO!
