The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campana takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stann falls off balance throwing a combination
and Campana counters with a two punch combo.
Stann ducks right into an uppercut from Campana.
Campana gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stann misses with a double jab.
Stann misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stann looks to land a left hand but Campana moved out of range nicely.
Stann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Campana shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Campana is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Stann is in all sorts of trouble here.

Campana tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Campana breaks from Stann's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Stann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Campana on the ground.

Campana has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Campana takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Campana working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stann turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Campana off and cradles Stann's limp body as Campana celebrates with his corner.
