Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Brett Williams enters the ring!

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but o hAodha paws at him with a jab and circles away.
o hAodha is looking to land body kicks.
o hAodha scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
o hAodha frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Williams is in all sorts of trouble here.
o hAodha working away from the top, dropping strikes.
o hAodha lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Brett Williams has been cut.

Williams tries to lock up and control but o hAodha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Williams is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
o hAodha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The cut above Brett Williams's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
o hAodha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Williams has left one of his arms exposed and o hAodha doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Williams screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
