Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Shrimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boyka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Queen - I Want It All (extended version) . Shrimp is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by drowning pool-step up. Uri Boyka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Shrimp!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrimp throws a low kick but Boyka avoids it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shrimp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Uri Boyka has been cut.
Boyka looks to land a combination but Shrimp avoids it well.
An inside leg kick from Shrimp misses.
Boyka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shrimp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Boyka is looking to take a break and control but Shrimp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Shrimp tries to improve position but can't.
Shrimp is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Boyka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shrimp knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Uri Boyka just wasn't active enough.
Boyka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shrimp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boyka somewhat.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boyka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boyka tries to free his leg and advance position but Shrimp is retaining full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shrimp can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boyka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

so Boyka counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Shrimp is trying to control the position but Boyka postures up.
Boyka wanted to stand there but Shrimp had control of the position.

Uri Boyka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boyka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shrimp circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shrimp lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boyka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boyka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shrimp throws a series of punches but Boyka avoids them all with ease.
Shrimp stuffs the takedown attempt from Boyka. Boyka gets slowly back to his feet.

Shrimp wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Boyka dives in and scores a takedown into Shrimp's guard.

Shrimp wants to control but Boyka is keeping busy.

Shrimp is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boyka's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boyka's back!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boyka wants to hold on but Shrimp pushes him away.

Boyka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shrimp cracks Boyka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boyka is in a horrible position here. Shrimp smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Boyka bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Shrimp shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boyka eats them both and turns towards Shrimp to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A nice combination there by Shrimp.
Shrimp connects with a nice looking jab.
Boyka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shrimp as he avoids it easily.
Shrimp throws a nice looking combination but Boyka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boyka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Shrimp paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boyka shoots for a double leg takedown but Shrimp sprawls well. He's pushed Boyka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shrimp scores with the left hand. Boyka knows he should have avoided that one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Shrimp. Boyka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boyka is looking to clinch but Shrimp is avoiding it.
Boyka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Shrimp ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck for Boyka with that takedown attempt.
Boyka closes the distance and clinches.
Boyka tries to circle away but Shrimp has him pinned against the ropes.
Shrimp goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boyka prevents it.
Boyka jumps guard but Shrimp turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
Shrimp is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Boyka is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shrimp is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Boyka to the mat. Boyka regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Uri Boyka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Boyka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Boyka wants to stand up but Shrimp is controlling him.

Boyka has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Shrimp should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Boyka has tightened it up now! Shrimp should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
