Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharia Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes to the cage accompanied by Remedy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele tries to clinch but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steele circles away.
Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Steele tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steele manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lewis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lewis wants to hit a switch here but Steele passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Lewis there!

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Lewis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lewis gets the takedown into side control.
Steele tries to buck Lewis off but Lewis is having none of it.
Steele prevents Lewis from improving position.
Lewis is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Steele's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lewis advances to mount.

Lewis cracks Steele with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lewis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Steele is looking to escape.
BOOM! Lewis connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Lewis looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Lewis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lewis throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Lewis stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Steele is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ray Lewis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Steele fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Lewis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steele regains half guard.
Steele is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lewis scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lewis seems to be working for a kimura but Steele defends the submission attempt.
Ray Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Steele is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily.

Lewis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Steele is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lewis, into his guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Steele throws a nice looking combination but Lewis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lewis is pushing down on Steele's leg trying to pass to half guard. Steele is fighting to maintain full guard but Lewis has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lewis wants to take a breather but Steele is having none of it.

Lewis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lewis is nestled in close to Steele, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lewisis looking to pass into half guard but Steele pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Steele is in guard.
Lewis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Steele manages to get himself to full guard.
