Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henk Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to icky thump. Tank is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tech N9ne - The Beast. Henk Tank will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Henk Tank! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones is working for takedown but Tank is calmly controlling the position for now. Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tank after a bit of a struggle. Tank is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jones is defending well. Jones fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tank obliges. Jones wants a takedown.
Tank avoiding damage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tank. Tank tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tank to keep the fight standing. Tank prevents a takedown attempt there.
Tank lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jones is trying to drag Tank to the mat but Tank just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A shot in the inside from Tank.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tank lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Tank throws a knee to the head but misses.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Jones tries to pull guard but Tank won't allow it.
Tank lands with a right to the head. Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tank just stands there and leans against the cage. A short left from Tank. Jones tries a body shot but Tank blocks it.
Tank lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tank content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jones has Tank pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tank manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tank fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones is breathing heavily. Tank lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Jones is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tank rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage. Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones takes a knee right on the jaw!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tank to keep the fight standing. Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tank lands a right hand. Clinched against the cage, Tank lands a big elbow that drops Jones! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Jones is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henk Tank! Post fight, Henk Tank took to the microphone: 'I want to thank the organization and my opponent for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank my sponsors. Love to all of my fans and I hope to kick some ass again real soon!'.
