Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gynther Gail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Smolarek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smolarek closes the distance and clinches.
Smolarek leaning his opponent against the cage.
Gail has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smolarek is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gail is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Smolarek's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Smolarek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gail shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gail is tying to control. Smolarek wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gail wants to pass the guard but Smolarek is defending well.
Gail is working hard here to advance position.

Gail is nestled in close to Smolarek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Smolarek wants to improve his position but Gail is controlling well.
Gail thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smolarek's head.
Well, if Gail is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
Gail is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gail is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gail trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Smolarek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Smolarek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gail. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gail working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gail passes into half guard.
Smolarek is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gail scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gail not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Smolarek wants to get back to full guard.
Smolarek is looking to control Gail's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Smolarek avoid being mounted?
Gail passes to side control.

Smolarek prevents Gail from improving position.

Gail has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Smolarek!

Gail fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Smolarek is rocked!
Gail has hold of Smolarek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smolarek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gail landing punches.
Smolarek is still in real trouble! Can Gail finish him?

Gail connects with a bit shot that sees Smolarek covering up! More strikes from Smolarek and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Gail is our winner by TKO!
