Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Chronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sancho Paredes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Paredes's choice of entrance music: Pearl Jam - Alive. Sancho Paredes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chronic connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Paredes momentarily.
Chronic misses with a series of wild punches.
Chronic swats away the attempt to clinch by Paredes.
Paredes misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chronic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chronic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Chronic throws a nice looking combination but Paredes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paredes. Chronic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chronic drives through and clinches with Paredes against the cage.
Chronic tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Paredes avoids it.
Paredes manages to break the clinch.
Paredes closes the distance looking to clinch
and Chronic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Sancho Paredes has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Chronic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chronic takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Paredes lands with an uppercut that bounces Chronic off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Dutch Chronic has been cut.
Chronic misses with a takedown attempt - Paredes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chronic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Paredes avoids the head kick by Chronic .
Chronic takes one to the chin there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chronic tries to clinch but Paredes is having none of it.
Chronic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chronic lands a high kick!
Paredes rushes Chronic and presses him up against the cage.
Chronic is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Paredes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Paredes misses the shot to the body.
Chronic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chronic ducks straight into an uppercut from Paredes and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Chronic manages to regain guard straight away.
Chronic is rocked!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Paredes showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Chronic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Paredes's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Chronic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paredes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Chronic seems to have got his legs back now.
Paredes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chronic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Paredes has managed to get both his arms back between Chronic 's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chronic is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Paredes rolls with it to try and escape but Chronic cranks on the arm and Paredes is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dutch Chronic !
A relieved looking Dutch Chronic thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
