The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai scores with a kick to the body.
Thai tries to clinch but Trout moves out of range.
Thai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Trout shoots for a double leg takedown but Thai sprawls well. He's pushed Trout's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Thai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Thai throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Trout blocks it with crossed arms.
Trout is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Muay Thai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Thai clinches up with Trout and pushes him back against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Thai stands and steps away. Trout gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Thai circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Trout to the canvas! Trout doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Thai keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
