Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos comes into the arena with Crawling by Linkin Park blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jose Carlos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dixon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carlos to score with a decent uppercut.
Dixon tries for a takedown but Carlos circles away easily
and Carlos counters with a right hand to the body.
Carlos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dixon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Carlos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carlos fails to land with a series of punches.

and Dixon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carlos's guard now.
Dixon drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dixon seems to have locked his on tight now - Carlos screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dixon, as he picks up the win!
