Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Mad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Berman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Mad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Berman! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mad fails with a takedown attempt. Berman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mad counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mad preventing the sweep. Mad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mad stands up from guard. Let's bang! Berman fails with a takedown attempt. Mad misses the shot to the body. Berman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Max Mad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rich Berman. Mad lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Rich Berman has been cut. Berman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mad looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Mad is trying to improve his position. Mad wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Mad throws a leg kick but Berman checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Berman prevents Mad from breaking the clinch. Berman lands an elbow inside. Mad wants to get back to striking at distance but Berman won't allow it.
Mad is trying to break free. Mad wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Berman has him pressed against the cage. Berman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Berman won't allow Mad to get back to his feet. Mad wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Berman manages to pass to side control. Mad is breathing heavily. Berman controlling the pace. Berman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mad moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mad doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mad is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Berman frees his head nicely. Oh but Mad has switched to an armbar! Berman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
