Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy comes to the cage accompanied by Still Remains-The Worst Is Yet To Come. Moss comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dr.Dre- Bitches Ain't Shit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dan Kennedy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Moss!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy fails with the takedown.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Moss!
Moss will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Moss misses with a low kick.
Moss is looking to score with low kicks.
Moss tries to score with a low kick but Kennedy moves his leg out of the way.
Moss looks to land a combination. Kennedy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moss as he avoids it easily.
Moss connects with a leg kick. Kennedy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Moss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Moss looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kennedy!
Kennedy tries to lock up and control but Moss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Moss prevents Kennedy from getting the reversal.
Moss landing strikes, looking to finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moss lands a big elbow.

Kennedy is looking to get to half guard.
Kennedy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Moss.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kennedy wants to control but Moss is having none of it.
Moss prevents Kennedy from getting the reversal.
Moss pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Moss wants to take Kennedy's back but he can't do it this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Kennedy is bucking up trying to escape but Moss cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Kennedy is trying desperately to improve position.
Moss throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kennedy because Moss loaded up on that one.
Moss avoids the attempt from Kennedy to control.

Kennedy regains half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kennedy works his way to full guard. Good work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moss accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Moss postures up and lands a big shot to Kennedy's brow.

Kennedy has his foot on Moss's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moss works his way back into a safe position though.

Moss looks to land a strike but Kennedy avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Kennedy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moss can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kennedy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Moss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kennedy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moss has managed to get both his arms back between Kennedy's legs - danger averted.
Kennedy can't keep his opponent in guard - Moss advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Kennedy is defending against the submission attempts here by Moss.
Moss is pressing down on Kennedy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kennedy is holding on for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Kennedy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Moss with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Moss throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Moss finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Moss bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Moss tries to advance position but instead Kennedy slips a leg back in to half guard.

Moss stands up and beckons Kennedy to join him on the feet.
Moss attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kennedy throws a lazy right hand but Moss sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moss pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moss tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moss enables Kennedy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moss manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kennedy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Moss manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kennedy manages to get himself to full guard.
Moss trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kennedy's guard.
Moss stands and throws Kennedy's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kennedy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Moss thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kennedy is pressing down on Moss's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Moss gets to his feet - Kennedy follows without any prompting.
Kennedy misses with a takedown attempt - Moss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kennedy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moss sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kennedy somewhat.
Jordan Moss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kennedy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kennedy is pushing down on Moss's leg trying to pass to half guard. Moss is fighting to maintain full guard but Kennedy has managed to sneak the leg through.

Moss feints and then cracks Kennedy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kennedy down.

Moss rushes Kennedy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Moss throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Moss is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kennedy can't fight it off and eventually Moss manages to take the fight to the floor. Kennedy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Dan Kennedy has been cut.

Kennedy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Moss works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
